Release Notes Sprint 19 (March 1st, 2023)

Here are the new evolutions brought by this new sprint.

General improvements in the webapp

A lot of improvements have been done concerning the webapp ("plug" the latest data from the latest model freeze, corrections and adaptations).

The advanced settings have been clarified by hiding many unused elements.

Versioning of URLs of scenarios

The URL scenarios now include the ID of a particular "iteration", so that they can be referenced in various documents. The URL gives access to a specific version of the scenario, to ensure full traceability.

This also prepares evolutions that will allow to navigate within versions of a scenario.

Guest access prototyped

A "guest" access has been prototyped for partners such as HMG. With this, external partners see only part of the webapp, and a subset of the scenarios that have been tailored for them:

Mass-import of constraints by copy&paste prototyped

A prototype button (may not work for all browsers) has been prototyped to allow a mass import of constraints from a table copied from Excel:

Evolutions of the model

The model has been frozen during the sprint in order to provide the webapp and Optimizer with updated results and response curves. The improvements include:

  • Improved CBRx model with calibration of priors, ensuring overall tactics contributions to CBRx are reduced with respect to their NBRx counterparts (effectively increasing the baseline contribution)
  • New saturation values to media tactics based on updated business assumptions
  • Also achieved in this sprint, but postponed to next model freeze: improved stability of the linear TV tactic modelling

A large effort has also been focused on improving the quality and reliability of the code base.

Evolutions regarding Data Engineering

The evolutions in terms of Data Engineering concern mainly the first integration of HMG tactics delivered to Databricks: TV and DTC Digital for now.
